KBC 0:14 FREEFLOW

Freeflow remained unbeaten as they demolished KBC 14:0 and stayed two points behind Warriors at top pf the table. This was a game Freeflow were going to win with ease against a team of much lower level in terms of ability but it was a case of how many could the away side score.

Freeflow started a little slowly and looked to casual at the back. But after a couple of minutes Freeflow started to dominate and created clear cut chances in the first 5 minutes. Manvir opened the scoring as he controlled and brought down Jaspreet's cross from the right and slammed the ball home from 7 yards, 1:0. The second goal came from Ahmed on his debut as he was slipped through by Manvir and Ahmed finished with composure, 2:0. The penetration continued but Freeflow dominated possession without playing their usual cohesive football. It was turning out to be more of a powerful and direct performance with Jaspreet playing a lead role in midfield.

It was Jaspreet who then struck as Albert, overlapping from right back crossed, the KBC defense failed to clear and from the edge of the box and Jaspreet thumped the ball home in spectacular fashion from the edge of the penalty area, 3:0. Ahmed was played through again and hit the post but then Amandeep deep in midfield played a lovely dissecting through ball to Ahmed who slotted home, 4:0 and a wonderfully simple goal.

Ahmed completed a first-half hat-trick as Manvir flicked the ball through beautifully and again Ahmed finished with ease, 5:0. Jaspreet who was the dominant force in midfield then stole the ball from KBC's defense to run through one-on-one with the goalkeeper and he slotted the ball home nicely, 6:0. Jag who did not receive the ball for long periods in the first half then scored with a freak goal. He skipped past a defender on the right flank with ease and then crossed which turned into a shot and looped into the near post, 7:0.

Jag's game then went up a gear and he turned provider for Ahmed who finished with power, 8:0 at half-time. Freeflow changed the formation and personnel in the second half were told to pass the ball better and they continued to dominate. Harjeet was used in a creative role and he immediately passed with intelligence and accuracy. KBC half cleared a Freeflow attack and the ball fell to Harjeet outside the penalty area, who half volleyed but scuffed the ball first time with his weaker foot and the ball looped home, 9:0.

Freeflow did keep the ball better in the second half and Kamel who played well in the first period scored for the second game running as he scramled the ball home, 10:0. Jaspreet continued to attack form midfield and he latched onto Jag's pass but he screwed the ball wide. Jaspreet though got his hat-trick as he scored from a rebound as KBC again failed to clear the second ball in their own penalty area, 11:0.

Ahmed was brought back on in a different position and he soon added another goal as he dribbled past four defenders on the left and smashed his shot home, 12:0 and 5 goals for Ahmed on his debut. Jag continued to terrorise defenders with his deft touch and natural ability but was let down by his complacent teammates. However Jay and Sunil both substitutes combined well to score another goal for Freeflow. Jay did well on the left to ride the tackles, he was one-on-one with the goalkeeper and un-selfishly squared the ball for Sunil, 13:0.

Freeflow continued to threaten as they were instructed not slip into a lower gear and kept on firing shots on KBC's goal. Jag played well as an attacking force by playing neat one-two touch football or by dribbling past defenders was then hacked in the penalty area after beating 3 defenders and the referee absurdly paused but eventually gave the penalty. Amandeep after brief discussion took the penalty and he slotted the ball home casually, 14:0.

A difficult game to assess as the difference between the two teams was so big, but Freeflow who needed a big win to aid their goal difference and to send a message to rivals in the league played effective football rather then beautiful football. Freeflow now have to guard against complacency and produce a different a performance against league leaders Warriors on Saturday 25th November.
