04/10/06 - Jagraj's views on Brasil Vs Argentina

I thought the emirates stadium was a good day out. In the game I saw many switch balls by both teams. There were many bits of good skill; it was exciting and interesting to watch because it was not a slow game.

Brazil was good on the ball because they did not take to many touches. Argentina kept possession a lot I thought and they played the ball at the right time.

10/08/06 - Harjeet's views on the FUTSAL OPEN DAY

The Futsal Open Day was a good experience for everyone because we got to play with a different ball. But the ball was bigger than the futsal ball we play with.

The surface of the pitch was good and my team played well but we lacked finishing that's something we need to work on in training.

29/07/06 - Taner's views on the Tower Hamlets Community Cup

The Organisation
I think the organisation was ok they had good facilities like the pitch’s, the dressing rooms. It was good to see boys playing football at the age of about 9 to 14. I think the referee's were poor, so two of our team's went out because of this. I can remember one of the referee's that was good and played to the rules in our group game's but the one in our Quarter-final was very poor, he denied us a penalty also I watched him through out the tournament and he was rubbish.

How our team played (Under 13's (2))
Our team played good through out the day. In our first match we won 8-0 but the performance could have been better. I think that I hanged on the ball to much in that match; we passed it about at times. In our second match we played much better we passed the ball about, the team we played were very physical. It was 1-1 and there was not a lot of time left when I scored the winning goal by slotting the ball in the corner, 2-1. In our last group game we lost 4-1 against a good team they passed it about. We couldn’t get near to the ball I never started the game but I came on late. We could of kept the ball more and move for our team mate’s.

I think in the Quarter-finals we played our best match. Albert started instead of Harjeet who was got injured earlier. He played his best match I have ever seen. He never had more than 2 touches. We passed and moved through out the match, we all played well and didn’t deserve to go out. I played a one two with Judge and he scored but the rubbish referee never gave it. They scored 2 goals in extra time, one was a free kick and then I hanged on to the ball too long then they intercepted it and scored late on.

03/08/06 - Judge's views on the Tower Hamlets Community Cup

Organisation
I think the organisation such as the pitches, facilities, changing rooms etc... Were great but one thing which not only let me down but the whole academy was the refereeing and the decisions made by the referees. If the decisions made were better then the under 11's and under 13's could've been into the semi final without a problem.

Matches
Overall I think all teams taking part under Freeflow played the football and left a fantastic impression of us onto those teams who saw us play the game of how it should be played. We did not play our usual passing game in all matches and we were not entirely perfect but then again we showed team’s free flowing football. We banged in goals, something we found difficult in earlier tournaments meaning our finishing had certainly improved through coaching we received from Dav and John prior to the tournament. What really looked good was that the under 11's got through to the knockout stages and the two under 13's got through to the knockout stages showing that all players of Freeflow football academy performed on the day for their teams. Unfortunately the under 14's were unlucky for missing two players much needed but then again they still performed to the best of their ability.

Our matches (under 13's, team 2)
We started of fantastically with an 8:0 win but slightly went downhill in our second game with a 2:1 victory and then in our last game which we lost 4:2 we did not play like a team as our football was scrappy and the movement wasn't good as especially in that game my movement was poor. It was in that game when we started to get a little tired under the heat and our concentration was lacking. In our group stages I think Adam (goalkeeper) was superb saving us many times when we lost the ball.
After a couple of hours rest we had the quarter-final to play and beforehand Ravi took us through his conditioning which certainly got us reared up for the game. In our game we played great one touch football something too hot for the opposition to handle and all they had for us was power. I could hear their manger saying: “What is this one touch rubbish, can’t you handle it” which showed to us that they loved our football. But it weren’t to be for us, as a disallowed goal, a penalty appeal turned down was frustrating, with extremely bad refereeing. It was in extra time when they won it but it should not of have even gone into extra time with a goal of ours disallowed. For sure they won’t forget us with our bright kits and beautiful football; we’ll be back next year playing even better!

Judge warming up in sync with Taner, their combination later on the pitch looked as though it could inspire the U13 (2) team to advance to the latter stages.
