END OF SEASON PRESENTATION & CELEBRATION

PLAYERS PLAYER OF THE YEAR

U14/15 JAG

Jag just took the award by one vote ahead of Selim, Jaspreet and Manvir. He was the under 15 forward that mesmerized opponents and entertained throughout the 2006/07 season.

Not only was he the second highest scorer with 16 goals but he assisted more goals than any FFA player, 9 in total. He played in every match and started every game bar one.

The combination of natural talent and his impressive 2006/07 statistics was the obvious reason for his piers to vote for him.

U12/13 HARPAL

Harpal won this award by a landslide. His will to learn and consistency deserved nothing less.

He is a shadow of the player he was two years ago. Back then he lacked technical ability, tactical knowledge and was quite simply a player with no confidence and belief. But with an outstanding attitude towards learning no matter the circumstances he has grown into the most respected player in his age group.

His game now has an aura, reliable when in possession and he is developing tactical awareness and leadership qualities. On top of this he is the only player that is consistent every session and every match day which is why his fellow players voted for him.

COACHES PLAYER OF THE YEAR

U14/15 SELIM

Selim won this award ahead of Arjun. But his committed and inspiring performances all season could never be overlooked. Another player who in the space of two years has improved so much that his game and personality is almost unrecognisable from the past.

Every training session he produces an unmatched will to learn. In every competitive match his performances consist of passion, energy, technical ability, awareness  but above all his displays inspire teamates and intimidate the opposition.

From a coaches point of view every team needs a player like Selim. Because of is postive attitide and hunger towards learning means he will only improve and win more awards.

 U12/13 RAJAN

Rajan was the outstanding and consistent creator in his age group. His creative and attacking ability is second to nobody in his age group and makes him always a joy to watch for football purists.

In every match this season, he is alwyas the outstanding performer, the team player, the playmaker and the inteliigent individual. For someone so young his technical ability and game insight is just fantastic to have for coaches and especially for FFA as our football ethos is about attacking, freeflowing, expressive, intelligent football.

By adding more technical and tactical weapons to his game Rajan could possibly be able to control matches and even give coaching tips to players during matches.

ROBERTO RIVA AWARD

U14/15 ARJUN

Arjun was the new recruit at the seasons start. Modest, ultra committed, willing, consistent  and he somes up the FFA ethos.

 U12/13 LIAM

Liam is the kind of player every coach needs. Takes instructions on board like no other and a player that represents FFA with a will to learn.
