I love football as much as I love women. I think since I have joined Freeflow the coaches have taught me so much about the game and I have become even more passionate about the game now.
I loved and supported Arsenal since I was about nine years old. I support Arsenal because my best friend was an Arsenal supporter and he told me to support them.
I also like teams from abroad, mainly the teams who play free flowing football. Teams like Barcelona and AC Milan. I think the 4-3-3 formation Barcelona play is good and very attacking. It is also similar to the Dutch tradition.
My favorite player for Arsenal is Francesc Fabregas because of the vision he has and skill, people forget he is only nineteen. But my favorite player of all time is Johan Cruyff because for me he made up the best skill in the world called the Cruyff Turn.
For me the most overrated players are most of the players in the England team e.g., David Beckham, Frank Lampard etc, the list goes on...
I think the most underrated player is Andrea Pirlo because people always go on about all these overrated players like Gerrard and Lampard but they can't shut their eyes and pick out a 50 or 60 yard ball like Pirlo does for AC Milan and Italy. I also think Cruyff was underrated because people always go on about Pele and Maradona as the best players of all time but they forget about Johan Cruyff and they were not as clever as him.
I would like to go to Brazil because you can learn a lot about football there as there are many good players over there. I would also like to see some BRAZILIAN women.
The 2006 World Cup was the first real World Cup I saw and it was one to forget. I think there was too much use of the 4-5-1 formation and not enough 1-1-8. There were also too many divers and too many red cards, this World Cup had more red cards than ever before and it spoilt the game. Hopefully the next World Cup will be better in Africa.
My favorite food was kebabs, chips, chicken wings and Dr Pepper but now I eat more healthy food such as broccoli and salad, and my favorite drink now would be water. That's why I am so hyper and very energetic.
I think there are a lot of bad things about the game e.g., the Panorama program which featured illegal signings. What is also bad about the game is that there is too much money involved and this could be used for more important things e.g. helping developing countries.
What’s great about football is that everyone is involved and has their own opinion of it. Football is a big part of my life and I can’t imagine it without football.
My hobbies include Athletics. I came first in the 1500m in red bridge. I also like playing pool, jamming with my Friends, Drama, PE and Art.
Training with Freeflow has helped me as a player and as a person. Before I came to Freeflow I did not know a lot about the game. But the coaches have helped me understand the game in a lot of ways. They have also helped me as a person as well by telling me their experiences in life and passed it on to me. But football wise they have built up my confidence. A year ago I was not that good and lacked confidence in my own abilities but we spent a year out of the league and I have improved so much.
My favorite subject at school is P.E because it involves lots of sports such as, Rugby, Cricket, Basketball etc; it also allows you to work in teams with other people. I also like Drama because it allows you to express yourself.
I would not change a lot about my self because that’s how God made me but I would change from English to Brazilian because I would love to be Brazilian and a Brazilian player. I like the way they party too. |
