KARAN

I love football because it allows me to express my skill and creativity.

I also do Martial Arts because it allows you to take your anger out and defend yourself. I play a bit of the Piano and the Dhol because it's good for hand co-ordination and timing.

I think being with Freeflow Football Academy has made me a better person. For example when we play in matches the referee's are usually biased and the Academy has taught us to get on with the game and focus on improving.

I started supported Manchester United when I was 6 years old and was influnenced by my older brother to support them. I also enjoy FC Barcelona's football. They pass the ball around and use the width of the pitch a lot to break down teams. They have many skill full players which are exciting to watch.

Michael Essien is the player I enjoy watching. he understands the game and has good football knowledge.

But Ronaldinho is the most overrated player for me as he did not perform well in World Cup 2006. I think he failed to control games as usual.

Didier Drogba however is the most underrated because people accuse him for not performing well when really he has been fantastic.

World Cup 2006 was boring as the teams did not perform well and it was more about the media than the football.

But the great thing about football is the fast pace and it makes you use your brain. However when players dive it makes the game poor and boring. If I could change the game then it would be the off-side rule, to allow the game to flow more.

"Rocky" is my favourite film as it shows great sportsmanship. "My Wife and Kids" is my favourite Television show as there are beautiful girls and it's funny.

I have traveled to India and I realised that I should be proud of what I have as there are many people without a home. I would like to travel to Brasil because I want to play football on the beach with young Brasilians.

If I could change school then I would make it a mixed school and I would introduce a KFC section in the canteen.

What I dislike about the world is all the killings and natural disasters in the world. If could change the world then I would remove the natural disasters and end the sadness.

Hip-hop, RnB and Garage and anything with a good beat is the music I like as it lightens my mood up. Music is important to cheer people up and brings peace to people in the world.

Art and History are my best subjects at school. I like to be creative and enjoy learning about the past. I dislike English and Maths as I find Shakespeare and Algebra boring.

The scariest experience I had was when I was 6 years old. I took my father's car keys and drove it really fast and then crashed. I learnt Cars are not toys.

But passing my eleven plus was the best moment of my life. My cousins, aunties and uncles never believed in me and on the day I passed their faces dropped but my family were really proud of me.

My team: Manchester United & FC Barcelona

Favourite player: Ronaldinho & Messi

Favourite Subjects at school: Science

Other Sports & Hobbies: Cricket & Pro Evo Soccer on the PS2.

I have traveled to: India

Where I want to go: Brazil & Spain

Favourite food: KFC's salsa Twister wrap

Player of the month:  March 2007

HARJ

Ronaldinho has to be my favourite player because he has beautiful skills and his vision is great.

I support Manchester United because I was influenced by my cousin from a young age. I also like FC Barcelona because of their nice kit and how they play.

I think David Beckham is the most overated player because everybody thinks he is great player when really all he is good at is free-kicks.

Messi however, is the most underated player in my opinion. He is so quick and can play on the left or right wing.

I love football because I enjoy its fun and it gives me somthing to do.

I think England should have won World Cup 2006, no not really that was a joke. Although I feel Brazil should have done better.

I think the bad thing about football is racism because everybody should be treated the same no matter what colour they are.

But the great thing about football is the movement and skill as it is so beautiful to watch.

If I could change school then I would say there should be no exams and no uniform.

What I dislike about the world is the fact that some countries are poor and some are so rich. If I had my way I would change the poor countries into rich countries.

I travelled to India during the summer of 2006 and I learnt that they don't have what we have here in England.

I would like to visit Spain because I want to go to the Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona. But most of all I would also like to go to Brazil because thats were beautiful football comes from, in other words Joga Bonito.

I am a fan of R'n'B music because I like the beats and its popular. Music is very important for the world because you know what other countries and other people like.

I would never change anything about football because I like it how it is.

One of my favourite subjects at school is Science as we get to do experiments with chemicals. But I dislike History as learning about the olden days is so boring.

My scariest experience was going on a plane after 10 years, I was so scared. But my best life experience was going to India, I saw a snake being killed right infront of  my eyes.

My team: Arsenal

Favorite player: Dennis Bergkmap & Gilberto Silva.

Favorite Subjects at school: Art, Drama, Maths & P.E.

I have traveled to: Greece.

Where I want to go: Brazil.

TANER

I don’t know really why I love football. I’ve just loved it since I was small I will always love it weather I make it or not.

I support arsenal because I think they play the most entertaining (passing, moving) football in England. I could watch them all day long.

Out of all time my favorite player was Dennis Bergkamp. I like Dennis because he was different from everyone else. He showed you that you don’t need 2 be fast as long as you are fast up in the head. He could see a pass before the ball came to him simply by looking up.

My modern day favorite is Gilberto Silva because he dose all the hard work for Arsenal and nobody give’s him credit for it, maby because his foreign. He sits in front of the back four stopping attacks and cleaning up.

I think the most overrated player is David Beckham because for me he dose not do enough too earn about 90 grand a week. He needs 1 hour to put in a cross. During 90 minutes he is very quiet and dose not do any think.

For me the most underrated player is Danny Mills, only joking I think it’s Ronaldo (Real Madrid & Brazil). His proven himself in the two hardest leagues Serie A (with Inter Milano) and La Liga (with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid), also every where h has been he has always scored goals which is what he dose. I don’t think he gets the credit he deserves.

I think the bad things about football are there are too many teams like Bolton. Also to many footballers are getting paid too much money. Also I think the coaching course’s need too be more harder because these days there is not enough good coaching so therefore children are getting bad coaching that’s why there is not enough English players playing in teams like Arsenal, Chelsea ,Man United  & Liverpool.

Being with the Freeflow Football Academy has definitely made my game improve a lot. I have added many things to my game like looking up, playing it early, expressing my skill on and off the ball, moving of the ball and using my head at all times.

I have traveled abroad to Greece; it was good I liked the women. My family are there and I have learnt that you don’t need money to have fun because were my family live it is not a rich place its very poor and they are very happy people so you don’t need money to have fun in your life.

Where I would like to go is Brazil. So I could play with some Brazilian footballers and learn more about there style of football.

My favorite subjects at school are Drama, P.E, Maths and Art. I think they are all creative subjects and I am good at creative subjects. I am in top set for Maths.

I would change nothing about my self.

My team: West Ham United

Favourite player: Dean Ashton & Ronaldinho

Favourite Subjects at school: Maths, Art, P.E. and I.T.

I have traveled to: Spain

Player of the month:  March 2006 & August 2006

JUDGE

I obviously support West Ham (I’m the only person who supports them in the entire academy I think). Well they’re my team because my uncle took me to the home games when I was a kid and so I just started supporting them.

My Favourite player is probably Dean Ashton from West ham because he can link up play from midfield to attack well with his clever passing. Overall my favourite player like nearly everyone else has to be Ronaldinho because of his magic.

If I could change school I would make it so that we only have to do lessons like Maths, English and Science and to forget the others. Also we should get no homework.

My favourite type of music has to be RnB. My favourite song at the moment is Ginuwine – “Differences,” but I have loads of others aswell.

I play football, because I love football, I have no clue why I like the game.

When I was around 10 I joined a little West ham training thing which was absolutely rubbish and that was when I met John, from then onwards I trained with Freeflow and the coaches were the ones who actually made me so passionate about football. The more I grew up and learnt about football from the coaches the more I understood the game which made me love this sport.

My favourite subjects at school are Maths, Art, P.E. and I.T. My worst subjects are all Sciences and Geography

One of the best things in my life was when I went to Spain which was like 6 years ago and I went to a beach in Maliga and the place was totally packed with buff Spanish women who only wore their bikini’s.

My team: Arsenal

Favorite player: Francesc Fabregas & Johan Cruyff.

Favorite Subjects at school: Art, Drama & P.E.

Other Sports: Athletics & Pool.

I have traveled to: Greece.

Where I want to go: Brazil.

Player of the month:  July 2006 & November 2006

SELIM

I love football as much as I love women. I think since I have joined Freeflow the coaches have taught me so much about the game and I have become even more passionate about the game now.

I loved and supported Arsenal since I was about nine years old. I support Arsenal because my best friend was an Arsenal supporter and he told me to support them.

I also like teams from abroad, mainly the teams who play free flowing football.  Teams like Barcelona and AC Milan. I think the 4-3-3 formation Barcelona play is good and very attacking. It is also similar to the Dutch tradition.

My favorite player for Arsenal is Francesc Fabregas because of the vision he has and skill, people forget he is only nineteen. But my favorite player of all time is Johan Cruyff because for me he made up the best skill in the world called the Cruyff Turn.

For me the most overrated players are most of the players in the England team e.g., David Beckham, Frank Lampard etc, the list goes on...

I think the most underrated player is Andrea Pirlo because people always go on about all these overrated players like Gerrard and Lampard but they can't shut their eyes and pick out a 50 or 60 yard ball like Pirlo does for AC Milan and Italy. I also think Cruyff was underrated because people always go on about Pele and Maradona as the best players of all time but they forget about Johan Cruyff and they were not as clever as him.

I would like to go to Brazil because you can learn a lot about football there as there are many good players over there. I would also like to see some BRAZILIAN women.

The 2006 World Cup was the first real World Cup I saw and it was one to forget. I think there was too much use of the 4-5-1 formation and not enough 1-1-8. There were also too many divers and too many red cards, this World Cup had more red cards than ever before and it spoilt the game. Hopefully the next World Cup will be better in Africa.

My favorite food was kebabs, chips, chicken wings and Dr Pepper but now I eat more healthy food such as broccoli and salad, and my favorite drink now would be water. That's why I am so hyper and very energetic.

I think there are a lot of bad things about the game e.g., the Panorama program which featured illegal signings. What is also bad about the game is that there is too much money involved and this could be used for more important things e.g. helping developing countries.

What’s great about football is that everyone is involved and has their own opinion of it. Football is a big part of my life and I can’t imagine it without football.

My hobbies include Athletics. I came first in the 1500m in red bridge. I also like playing pool, jamming with my Friends, Drama, PE and Art.

Training with Freeflow has helped me as a player and as a person. Before I came to Freeflow I did not know a lot about the game. But the coaches have helped me understand the game in a lot of ways. They have also helped me as a person as well by telling me their experiences in life and passed it on to me. But football wise they have built up my confidence. A year ago I was not that good and lacked confidence in my own abilities but we spent a year out of the league and I have improved so much.

My favorite subject at school is P.E because it involves lots of sports such as, Rugby, Cricket, Basketball etc; it also allows you to work in teams with other people. I also like Drama because it allows you to express yourself.

I would not change a lot about my self because that’s how God made me but I would change from English to Brazilian because I would love to be  Brazilian and a Brazilian player. I like the way they party too.
